We’re so excited to introduce you to the one and only Chloe Claus! Chloe is Brunette Showroom‘s wholesale sales rep for Canada and also aids Miriam Alden in designing Brunette The Label. After spending the first ten years of her life in Canada, Chloe moved to Australia and lived with her family in Sydney for the next fifteen years. When she came back to Vancouver on holiday in 2015, she fell in love with her hometown and decided to move back shortly thereafter. Chloe has always been obsessed with fashion, which you can tell from her immaculate fashion sense and charisma for design. She brings constant inspiration, laughter and a drive to succeed to the office, and we’re so thankful to have her as part of Team Brunette!
What does babes supporting babes mean to you?
Babes who support babes are inclusive and focus on lifting each other up, rather than tearing each other down. A supportive babe is loyal, driven and constantly strives to do better for herself and those around her.
If you could choose your nickname, what would it be?
Chlo or Chlo-money, which are my nicknames with most people already.
What’s your spirit animal?
A meerkat. They work well in groups, and an alpha female rules the entire burrow. Sounds about right!
What’s your proudest babe moment or achievement?
When I decided to take a chance and move across the world by myself.
What’s the most unexpected thing you have in your purse or wallet?
A couple of crystals and an insane amount of hotel room keys from travelling!
Tell us about a time where you were faced with a situation that you could have been unkind, but chose to be a babe instead?
There has been countless times in my career when I’ve been hurt or insulted by the comments and actions of others. For a time, I used to work in a very male-dominated workplace and it could be difficult to get taken seriously. It’s hard, but rising above it all and being a bigger person will pay off in the long run.
What product would you seriously stockpile if you found out they weren’t selling anymore?
If you had a yacht, what would be the name of it?
Probably ‘The Sugar Shack’, which is the name of my house in Kits amongst my friends.

Do what you love and the money will follow.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received now that you’re in your career?
