A Note from Miriam
I have always had a major love affair with fashion from the early ‘90s. This season is inspired by my love for vintage rock, 90’s fashion and leopard print. While travelling, I spend most of my time searching for vintage pieces that I can accessorize with our Brunette collections, and this season, those vintage pieces were my inspiration.
Brunette the Label is meant to be clothing for your everyday. For this collection, I believe, we have done our best job yet at designing pieces that you can wear to be comfortable, while elevating our styling, continually referencing our favourite eras.
When I wear my vintage pieces, I feel like I travel back in time and am connected to the movement that was fashion then. I think of who used to wear them, what they were doing in them, and how those clothes made them feel. This FW19 collection is my take on those feelings. Evolving the way those special pieces make us feel, and designing pieces that I hope in 30 years from now someone will find, put on, and feel a part of something. A part of the Babe Movement.
